Dark Lord Day XX

20th anniversary Print!

I’ve had a great relationship with 3 Floyds Brewing over the years, starting with designing a bomber bottle ( and companion poster of course) for Apocalypse Cow over 15 plus years ago to making posters for their annual Dark Lord Day festival/celebration/bacchanal . This year was the 20th year for DLD so I had a fun time coming up with a poster for the event. `The theme was Frank Frazetta’s images especially Death Dealer. Now guys, THAT is an iconic image and not one I was going to imitate poorly. Instead, I unmasked him for the skull he is and featured a portrait of a 3FFF skull in the iconic DD helmet. Good to go

I printed two different editions of the print, one on 100# Cougar white paper , and a few editions on foil. One edition was for 3FFF with crosshatch foil and a tiny edition on Lava Foil for me. My artist editions AND unique testprints are all up in my shop now.

Mikerphone Brewing/Hop Butcher Collab
